What do you do when the unexpected happens?
Simple. You respond.
Most people might confuse responding with reacting, but they’re not the same.
Reaction is when you take action based on some sort of stimuli. There’s usually no thought or consideration. Just the classic knee jerk.
To respond, there are a few more steps involved.
First, assess the new situation. This will give you the data you need to process what it means for you or your client.
Then, communicate with your team so everyone is on the same page and you can develop a creative strategy for thoughtful action.
Once you have a strategy in place, you can execute your response in a timely manner.
