It’s a rare thing for people these days to find their true calling.
Part of the reason for this is we’re exposed to over 5,000 advertisements a day telling us what we’re supposed to do, how we’re supposed to act and what we’re supposed to think. It’s hard to find the level of comfort we need in order to find our calling in life.
I’ve heard countless stories about freelance copywriters being asked by their family and friends, “When are you going to get a real job?” or “Are you looking for a real job?”
I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of family and friends that never asked those questions. They’ve given me the support I’ve needed to find my true calling and to turn my hobbies and strengths into a promising career.
And I’m forever so grateful to them all.
