When all else fails, take a nap.
While we’ve been taught that if you work hard, you’ll find success. What they fail to teach us is a little bit of laziness can help you find that success a lot easier.
In my world, motivation, inspiration and creativity are very important, but they don’t always come to me as needed. I’ve spent hours at my desk, staring at my keyboard without tapping out a single sentence, word or letter. The cure for this productivity shutdown?
A 30-minute nap.
Taking breaks and being a little lazy has been found to have some great benefits for you:
- You’re less likely to feel burned out.
- You’re more well-rested.
- You’re more efficient.
- You’re more creative.
- You’re better at solving problems.
So if you want to get the most out of yourself and your workday, be sure to sprinkle a little laziness in there from time to time.
